Mid August matters

As I look over the pictures of the past few days, the main thread has been about fruits - from the large hedgerow rose hips to blackberries to ornamental pumpkins, etc.
And, some stunning flowers too. Begonias are really enjoying this reprise of warm weather and there is always the very reliable Rudbeckia and Crocosmia. Tie into these the Fuchsias that are still flowering away and the white sweet pea that have yet another flush of fantastic white flowers (at the start of August I removed all flowers and pods, and gave them a good feeding) leading to plenty of interest reflecting the time of year.
