This picture was taken yesterday, on 1st November. I suppose it marks the beginning of the colder weather to come.
And, it was certainly a cold enough, and windy enough, day for it, and judging by the stormy wet weather out there today, we'll be doing the same again.
In fact, and I know others with a wood burning stove will agree, there is nothing like them for heat. Over the coming 4 months, this baby will be used on an almost daily basis.
Now for my part, a friend if mine has recommended a book on all things firewood, so that's a must have for this Winter.
