Surrounded by plants today in Plantagen. It was great! Really liked the fact that within a short walk I could be among plants from Asia or Europe or the Americas. Plenty of questions to be answered and queries to follow up. Best question I was asked today was about how to deal with mildew on an apple tree. Chap went away happy that he could do something useful to help deal with the situation. Mostly discussed about relieving the stress the plant is under and promoting good plant culture. Gave good advice to a couple who have some David Austin roses, on staking and mulching with manure and bark mulch. Bought some good liquid feed that was on special, just what the doctor (or at least some plants that need feeding) !!
