My (day late) Wordless (almost) Wednesday picture is the wall of colour just outside my front gate.
It's a group of lovely mature trees, mostly beech (Fagus sylvatica) in their final throws of Autumn colour, and boy, they are going out with a bang!
This photo has a sunlight filter I put on it, as it was dull when the picture was actually taken, but it reflects what we see when we are in the garden or look out our front windows.
It really is spectacular.
