Excitement of emerging seeds

It's true, there's nothing like the excitement of seeing this year's sown #garden seeds breaking through.

This particular batch of seed was sown on the 13.3.16, with most breaking ground from day ten onwards. The exception to this was rocket, which germinated after seven days.

The seed trays are in the glasshouse or greenhouse during the day, and on cool night are brought in to ensure soil temperatures don't fall too low. 

We'll let some true leaves develop before we move them to their next stage.
